Winner: Haze² and Awandra have won at the World Superyacht Awards 2026

Lawson Robb in collaboration with Rigby & Rigby is proud to announce that Haze² has won at the World Superyacht Awards 2026, taking top honours in the Displacement Motor Yachts – 499GT and Below, 30m to 39.9m category.
Held this year in Venice, the World Superyacht Awards remain one of the most respected moments in the superyacht calendar, recognising yachts that demonstrate exceptional design, craftsmanship, engineering and ambition. To be acknowledged among such a strong international field is a real honour.

For us, Haze² has always been a particularly meaningful project. At just over 30 metres, she was designed to carry a level of detail, comfort and individuality more often associated with much larger yachts. The ambition was not to create something decorative for its own sake, but to build a yacht with depth, personality and real purpose — robust enough to explore, refined enough to live aboard properly, and personal enough to feel unmistakably her owner’s.
The project was made possible through a close and highly collaborative relationship between the owner, Cantiere delle Marche, Hydro Tec and Lawson Robb. CdM’s experience in long-range explorer yachts gave the project its proven technical foundation, while Hydro Tec’s naval architecture and exterior design brought strength, balance and capability to the platform. Our role was to shape an interior that could sit confidently within that framework — warm, detailed and highly considered, without losing sight of life at sea.

The result is a yacht that feels both capable and intimate. Hand-painted wallpapers, intricate ceiling details, carefully selected marbles, warm timbers, art, specialist finishes and soft sienna undertones were brought together to create a layered interior with its own identity, while still remaining calm, practical and coherent throughout.
This award belongs to everyone who helped bring Haze² to life: the owner, whose vision drove the project from the beginning; Cantiere delle Marche, whose craftsmanship and commitment were central throughout; Hydro Tec, whose technical and architectural input shaped the yacht’s capability; and the Lawson Robb team, whose care and persistence helped deliver the level of detail the project deserved.

We are delighted to see Haze² recognised on this stage. More than anything, the award reflects what can happen when an experienced owner, a specialist shipyard and a committed design team are all pushing in the same direction.
We were equally pleased to see further recognition within the fleet, with Awandra securing a win in the “Displacement Motor Yachts – 499GT and below, 50m and above” category at the 2026 World Superyacht Awards. Awandra stood out to the judges for her refined design language and meticulous detailing, reinforcing the strength of this year’s entries across multiple classes. For Rigby & Rigby, this achievement carries added significance, as our Creative Division had the privilege of developing Awandra’s brand identity and onboard signage. Seeing the project recognised on an international stage is a rewarding reflection of the collaborative effort behind the yacht and a testament to the value of considered, cohesive design extending beyond the interior environment.
