Rigby & Rigby has an exciting opportunity for a talented, passionate Senior interior designer to join our multi-disciplinary team of professionals specialising in ultra-prime residential design.

Mayfair, London

About you

Minimum of 8 years’ experience specialising in high-end residential interior design and an extensive knowledge base of high-end suppliers
Strong organisational and interpersonal skills with the ability to foster relationships with both clients and colleagues
Excellent visual and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead presentations
Highly Creative
Team-player with the ability to work independently
Flexible approach to leading multiple, concurrent projects at various stages of development
Forward thinker who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
High proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Esti PC (or similar)
Experienced in technical drawing with exceptional detailing skills and construction knowledge

Responsibilities

As a Senior designer, your role will involve the following:

Project Management

Attendance at initial meetings with client and Senior management to generate project brief
Produce and oversee the production of complete drawing packages for projects
Lead pitch preparation and the development of pitch material
Ensure all meeting minutes are recorded and actions implemented
Lead the development and implementation of design schemes
Management of budgets and the production of programmes
Ensure project completion in line with programme
Issue of monthly progress reports
Co-ordination of site requirements with sub-contractors
Oversee sourcing and procurement of all goods (furniture, fabrics, accessories etc) and ensure these remain on schedule
Monitor snagging and de-snagging
Preparation of final account

Client Liaison

Responsible for managing and maintaining Client expectations
Lead presentations to Clients
Initiation and participation in progress meetings with the Client

People Management

Line management of designers and junior designers
Lead and motivate the design team to deliver high standards of quality and service
Assist in the professional development of design team members and ensure that they are competent in all aspects of their role
Encourage creative growth of Design team
Day to day line management of resources and programme ensuring targets are met
Actively propose improvements to systems and processes to maximise efficiencies

Other

Represent Rigby & Rigby confidently across industry events
Actively seek out new business opportunities
Become well versed with the Rigby & Rigby Brand values and represent Rigby & Rigby as a brand ambassador
Regular attendance at supplier and industry networking events
