What started as a beachside restaurant has evolved into an internationally recognised lifestyle brand, with destinations spanning the Mediterranean and Middle East, all united by a distinctive blend of elegance, energy and contemporary Mediterranean living.

For several years, the arrival of Nammos in London has been one of the most anticipated openings in the capital's hospitality scene. With Mayfair providing the perfect backdrop for the brand's first permanent urban UK destination, expectations were understandably high.

Rigby & Rigby was proud to be appointed to deliver the transformation of the former restaurant on Berkeley Street, breathing new life into the two-storey venue and creating a setting worthy of one of the world's most recognisable hospitality brands. This appointment was made even more rewarding as it came from a returning client, reflecting the trust and confidence established through previous successful collaborations.

Working alongside the wider consultant team, specialist subcontractors and the project's architectural designers, our role extended far beyond construction. The challenge lay in translating an ambitious design vision into a fully coordinated and deliverable reality, while maintaining the exceptional level of detail expected throughout every aspect of the finished space.

Projects of this nature demand a unique balance between creativity and technical delivery. Every material junction, lighting detail, bespoke finish and operational requirement required careful consideration and coordination. The pace of the programme only added to the challenge. Despite a highly compressed programme, the project team successfully maintained the integrity of the original vision, delivering a result that remains faithful to the Nammos brand while responding to the practical realities of operating a world-class restaurant in the heart of Mayfair.

The finished interiors are a testament to that collaborative effort. Inspired by the warmth and sophistication of the Mediterranean, the restaurant combines natural textures, layered materials, refined detailing and carefully curated lighting to create a space that feels both luxurious and welcoming. The result captures the essence of the Nammos experience — transporting guests from the streets of London to the shores of the Aegean the moment they step inside.

What is particularly satisfying is seeing the venue come to life exactly as intended. Within weeks of opening, Nammos London has already established itself as one of Mayfair's most talked-about destinations, attracting a steady stream of guests and generating significant attention across social media and the hospitality industry alike.
