Rigby & Rigby - James Wellesley Introduction

The Rigby & Rigby team have collaborated with James Wellesley to create & install one of the most important parts of the WOW!House project in the Primary Bathroom interior; the shell & core timber walls as well as the beautiful feature stepped ceiling.

The Rigby & Rigby design & construction teams have worked with the James Wellesley team closely to ensure the highest level of quality & craftsmanship has been achieved.

James Wellesley is a London based high-end joinery company which utilises the highest level of specialist design & manufacture for some of London’s most luxurious residences.

It has been a privilege to collaborate with them on the project!

Rigby & Rigby Visit to James Wellesley - April 2026

Visit to inspect the manufacture - April 2026

The construction of the timber panelling has been produced to the highest standard & quality, synonomous with the quality of the craftsmanship for their high end projects. Will Rigby who has overseen the construction of our bathroom space at Wow! House this year was ‘very impressed’ with the quality control and care applied whilst manufacturing the timber sections for the project.

Ahead of a visit to the James Wellesley factory, the Rigby & Rigby design team produced very detailed construction drawings & cutting lists for the James Wellesley team to follow. This was overseen by Yuchen Wu, who’s attention to detail & focus dovetailed beautifully with the dedicated team from James Wellesley.

Site Installation - May

Following the visit by the Rigby & Rigby team at the end of April, the main construction of the bathroom space took place over 5 days from 25th June until the 29th June.

This was carried out with meticulous attention to detail & careful planning, all spearheaded by Will Rigby & his construction team. Each item was brought onto site all itemised & numbered to ensure the pre-manufactured kit of timber parts, was installed on site at Chelsea Harbour smoothly.

Final Product Installation & Opening

We are very impressed with the final installation & the opening this month for all guests who have travelled through the whole WOW!House experience.

The execution of the millwork in the interior design has been crucial to the success of our bathroom space, and we have had many WOW!House visitors admiring the quality of the material.

It has been a pleasure to work with Christian Lawson and the whole team at James Wellesley on this project.
