Rigby & Rigby Proud to Support Ross Stirling’s Mission for War Child UK

Rigby & Rigby is proud to have supported Ross Stirling in his extraordinary effort at the 2026 London Marathon, an achievement that stood out even among the thousands of inspiring stories the event brings each year. Taking on the ultimate test of endurance, Ross completed the marathon carrying a fridge on his back, pushing both physical and mental limits in support of a truly meaningful cause.

Ross ran to raise funds for War Child UK, a charity dedicated to protecting, educating, and standing up for the rights of children affected by conflict. Working in partnership with local organisations, War Child provides emergency support including food, clean water, hygiene kits, clothing, and blankets when crisis strikes. Crucially, their work doesn’t stop there—they remain on the ground for as long as it takes, helping children and families recover, rebuild, and regain stability.

Through evidence-based programmes and hands-on collaboration, War Child equips local partners with the tools, training, and expertise needed to deliver long-term, sustainable support within their own communities. It’s a mission that makes a lasting difference, and one that Ross was determined to champion in the most unforgettable way.

Running a marathon is no small feat in itself but doing so while carrying a fridge is on another level entirely. It was a gruelling challenge, but Ross was powered by the incredible support of the crowds lining the streets of London, as well as the knowledge that he was running for such an important cause.

Ross has now raised over £25,000 for War Child UK, a remarkable milestone that reflects both his determination and the generosity of those who have supported him. He would greatly appreciate any further donations to help this amazing charity.

This is an incredible achievement, and everyone at Rigby & Rigby is immensely proud to have sponsored Ross on this journey. Well done, Ross, you’ve gone above and beyond in every sense.
