Allect Design Group Runs for those who can’t run at the Wings for Life World Run 2025

On May 4th, 2025, five team members from Allect Design Group laced up their running shoes and joined hundreds of thousands of participants around the world in the Wings for Life World Run. Together, they covered a collective distance of 42 kilometers – each step taken in support of a single, vital goal: to help find a cure for spinal cord injury.

Now in its 12th year, the Wings for Life World Run has become a true global phenomenon. This year’s event brought together 310,917 runners across 68 countries, with seven official Flagship Runs and hundreds of organised App Runs. It continues to be the world’s largest running event – not only in scale, but in spirit.
The unique format of the race, where runners are chased by a virtual Catcher Car instead of racing toward a finish line, creates an inclusive experience for participants of all abilities.

In total, this year’s run raised an impressive €8.6 million for spinal cord research. The Allect team was proud to be part of such a meaningful and uplifting event.
