Rigby & Rigby Wins SBID Global Award for Ultra-Luxury Residential Property 2024 with Project Eighty Nine

Rigby & Rigby’s Interior Design team has been awarded the SBID Global Award for Ultra-Luxury Residential Property 2024 for their exceptional work on Project Eighty Nine. This prestigious recognition celebrates the team’s hard work, commitment, and collaboration to bring this one-of-a-kind property to life.

Studio Director of Interior Design, James Ashfield, reflected on the award, sharing, “To stand on stage with the team to collect this award was a very special moment—true recognition not only for all six departments of Rigby & Rigby but for all consultants and suppliers who dedicated themselves to the project. This project was more than five years in the making. Our work is about storytelling and the journey, with the client and the team, to create a vision and execute it with the highest standards and the best in class. From the carefully considered space planning, the U-shaped metal channels that line the window reveals, the double height pool with undulating ceiling and canyon like travertine walls, the Magnolia-inspired crystal chandelier, every detail highlights the craftsmanship we’re so passionate about.”

Rigby & Rigby’s Project Eighty Nine seamlessly merges inspiring design with state-of-the-art innovation. The UK’s first single private residence to achieve WELL Certification, this carbon-neutral mansion situated in one of London’s most prestigious addresses, sets a new standard in luxury living. From sustainable solutions like ground-source heat pumps, air purification, heat recovery, and water filtration systems, to creative space planning and a meticulous attention to detail, the property exudes both elegance and functionality. Every millimetre of space has been thoughtfully designed, with ample natural light and carefully curated focal points to create a harmonious, contemporary living environment.

Project Eighty Nine features well-appointed living and bedroom suites, entertainment and wellness areas, and an aesthetic that showcases modern luxury. Each detail reflects a deep connection to the context of the building and location. Custom touches, such as AI-inspired outdoor sculptures, a bespoke hand-finished marble coffee table, and the three-metre high pivot entrance door, showcases the team’s dedication to creating a personalised and unforgettable residence.
