Rigby & Rigby Creative Division Explores London Packaging Week

A few weeks ago, the Creative Division at Rigby & Rigby had the pleasure of attending London Packaging Week, a vibrant showcase of the latest innovations and trends in the world of packaging. The event was bursting with inspiring ideas and sustainable alternatives, all of which are set to influence our upcoming projects in exciting ways. One of the highlights for our team was discovering innovative, sustainable materials that can be used for our in-house stationery. From ribbons made of recycled polyester and cotton, to packaging envelopes lined with wool, to boxes made of grass, tweed and olives, to name but a few. We were inspired by the possibilities these alternatives offer for reducing our environmental footprint without compromising on style.

The exhibition was also a treasure trove of ideas for potential branded products that could add that extra "zhuzh" to the final stages of our projects. There was a particularly strong presence of wellness merchandise this year, including plush slippers, towels and dressing gowns, as well as fitness accessories, and luxury beauty products. We're excited to bring these fresh concepts to our clients and elevate their branding even further.

Beyond the inspiration, London Packaging Week also provided a fantastic opportunity to network with other design studios and industry professionals. Engaging with like-minded creatives allowed us to exchange ideas, explore potential collaborations, and stay on the cutting edge of what’s new and next in the world of design.

Overall, London Packaging Week provided a wealth of inspiration, and we’re eager to translate these new ideas into innovative solutions for our clients and our brand. Stay tuned for some exciting updates as we continue to explore and experiment with these new materials and concepts!
