January 2026 – Site Progress Update Khao Yai Estate, Thailand

This month has seen strong progress on site in Khao Yai for our residential project. Key activities and inspections included:

• Mock-Up Reviews

Comprehensive mock-ups were completed for the boundary wall treatment and fence details, allowing the team to review and confirm materials, proportions, and detailing. Mock-ups of the façade finishes for both the garage and warehouse buildings were also reviewed, ensuring alignment with the approved design intent.

• Material Confirmation

Native Thai hardwoods proposed for external and internal applications were inspected and approved, with particular attention to grain consistency, colour tone, and long-term durability in the Khao Yai climate. A local Khao Yai travertine stone reviewed and confirmed for the hardscaping. Aluminium framing systems were also reviewed, including profile thickness, finish quality, and integration with surrounding façade components.

• Villa Construction Progress

Foundation works for the villas are well underway, with several units now completed to ground-beam level. Structural reinforcement, waterproofing works, and initial service conduits have been checked and signed off in coordination with the structural and MEP engineering team.

• Landscape Mock-Up and Site Planting

A full landscape mock-up area was inspected to assess the quality of drainage and hardscape integration. Surrounding planting has begun in selected zones, focusing on native species to maintain the natural Khao Yai character and support long-term ecological resilience.

Overall, works are progressing well, with key material selections now confirmed and multiple elements moving from mock-up to full implementation.
