Introducing Duygu Bahalibaba as Architectural Assistant

Duygu Bahalıbaba joined Rigby & Rigby Architecture as a talented and driven Architectural Assistant in October 2025, bringing with her a strong academic foundation, international perspective, and a growing portfolio of high-quality project experience. As part of our award-winning Architecture team and our Global Team, Duygu compliments our team of thoughtful, technically capable designers contributing to our expanding international presence.

Duygu recently completed her Master of Architecture at the University of Reading, following her Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Architecture at the University of Bath. Her academic journey reflects a consistent commitment to excellence, combining strong design thinking with technical rigour. Throughout her studies, she developed advanced skills in digital design, BIM workflows, and visual communication, supported by proficiency across industry-standard software including Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Her professional experience spans a range of respected international practices, where she has contributed to projects across residential, hospitality, and marine sectors. From early-stage concept design and visualisation through to technical drawing production, planning packages, and MEP coordination, Duygu has gained valuable exposure to multiple RIBA stages and complex project environments. This breadth of experience has equipped her with a well-rounded understanding of both design development and technical delivery.

Since joining Rigby & Rigby Architecture, Duygu has quickly integrated into the team, contributing to projects that demand precision, creativity, and a refined design approach. Her ability to navigate detailed technical information while maintaining a strong design sensibility has already made a positive impact. Working across both UK-based and international schemes, she has demonstrated a collaborative mindset and an eagerness to engage with the diverse challenges presented by our Global Team.

Duygu’s international background, combined with her multilingual skills and cultural awareness, further strengthens her ability to contribute to projects across different regions and client contexts. Her enthusiasm for architecture, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous learning align closely with the values of our studio.
