Delivering Design Differently - Our Digital Approach

INTEGRATED MODELLING: ENHANCED COLLABORATION
A key evolution in this journey has been the integration of Autodesk’s Digital Project Delivery platform. Central to this is the use of a Common Data Environment, where project information is centralised under one model. Accessible to clients, consultants, and contractors alike, this platform allows design data to be shared transparently and in real time; reducing miscommunication, minimising coordination errors, and eliminating duplication. The result is a more efficient, more agile workflow that not only enhances delivery but also reduces cost and delay for our clients.

VISUALISING DESIGN: IMMERSIVE 3D ENVIRONMENTS
A unified digital environment brings exceptional clarity to visualisation. With all elements, from wall sockets to ductwork, accurately modelled in one place, clients gain earlier, more realistic insight into the final result. This greatly aids decision-making and improves alignment across teams. The platform also integrates seamlessly with real-time rendering tools such as Enscape, enabling clients to virtually walk through their projects and experience live design updates as they happen.
Complementing this is our adoption of Matterport, a powerful visual survey tool that transforms photographic scans of existing buildings into immersive 3D environments. This tool enables clients, consultants and team members to walk around and review spaces from anywhere in the world, without the need for site visits.

DATA-DRIVEN DELIVERY: PROJECT TRANSPARENCY & CLIENT ACCESS
We are redefining project transparency through Grow, our integrated business intelligence platform. With live dashboards, clients gain instant access to a continuously updated record of progress reports, design updates, invoicing, and financial forecasting, all in one place. This real-time visibility fosters clearer communication and builds trust. Throughout the project lifecycle, clients can track money spent, see what’s invoiced, and understand projected costs, giving them greater confidence and control.
Enhancing this experience is our commitment to streamlined information sharing through secure Datarooms. Instead of requiring cumbersome downloads, our clients receive direct links enabling them to instantly view drawings, reports and even motion files directly within their browser.

BUILT-IN INTELLIGENCE: INFRASTRUCTURE & KNOWLEDGE SHARING
Behind the scenes, our digital infrastructure powers these tools seamlessly. With a Hypercloud server and 1GB tail connectivity, our teams and collaborators benefit from high-speed access to large model files, ensuring fluid communication and uninterrupted workflow across all project stages.
Our digital delivery isn’t just about tools, it’s also about how we work. Internally, our Studio Index serves as a curated knowledge library of architectural details, design assets, and best-practice templates. This resource supports rapid design development, encourages consistency across projects, and supports enhanced coordination between departments.
By investing in the right systems and sharing knowledge intelligently, we ensure that every project benefits from the full strength of Rigby & Rigby’s technical and creative expertise.

DIGITAL LEGACY: LIFELONG BUILDING RECORD
At its essence, Digital Project Delivery enables a seamless and more considered way of working. By unifying people, data, and process, it supports a collaborative design ethos that mirrors Rigby & Rigby’s commitment to technical excellence and refined architectural execution. The benefits extend well beyond completion, too: with coordinated models forming a reliable as-built digital record, our clients are equipped for confident long-term operation and maintenance.
