In the heart of Chelsea, London, this extensive lateral apartment, built in the late 1800s, sits within the historic Cadogan Gardens area and overlooks one of London’s most fashionable roads. Rigby & Rigby’s Architectural and Construction Divisions worked closely with interior designers, Helen Green Design, to understand and design to the clients’ bespoke needs and deliver a light, luxurious and spacious family home with impeccable attention to detail.

The design concept was rooted in optimising natural light and creating the perfect flow of spaces, whilst maximising fully the potential of the property’s layout as a family home. Internal reconfiguration and extensive renovation were required to meet client expectations and so we diligently remained fully committed to pushing boundaries throughout the project. Seamless collaboration between Construction and Architecture meant that extensive expertise and knowledge, from design to delivery, could be deployed, most notably resulting in Rigby & Rigby successfully managing, negotiating, and delivering a complex License to Alter that pushed the limits of development. This permitted the reconfiguration of the floorplan providing an additional spacious bedroom suite, without having to compromise on living space and this was the catalyst for the delivery of a stunning family home which exceeded client aspirations.
